Super Bowl Sunday!
What a blast! We had 12 youth boys, Pastor Herb and a few neighbors over for the Super Bowl! We set up 2 TVs in our living room and had a ton of food. Wal-Mart donated all of the food and goodies for the day. During Half Time we watched the testimony of Coach Dungie. If you ever get a chance, watch it. It is so powerful!
It was a 
great summer! We were always having kids over for Otter Pops! The hotter that it got the more kids we would have.
We had a sweet young man in our home for a BBQ. He came with his cousins. It was a great time to get to know him and love on him. Two people from Calvary Chapel Vail Valley had joined us for the feast. During the time we had a long discussion on stealing. We explained to the boys that it doesn't please God to take others things. We also made it clear that you should ask the person that has the item that you would like to share or ask if you could have it. It seemed as if everyone understood what we had said and that all had be resolved with taking things that are not yours. Sure enough though the sweet young man that we had for dinner that night broke into our home, while we were sleeping and took our Play-station. We were shocked at first then it hit us. This young man knows no better even if we did just have this discussion and we had him over for dinner. He wanted something and he got it. Please be praying for these kids who know no better who are being taught that what you want you go and get it at any expense 
Our house became a safe and fun place to play for all of the boys. We would have kids at our house everyday. The best thing for them was the crushed ice that came from our refrigerator. Most of them had never seen such a thing! The way that they would ask, if that is what you would call it, was to say "We are so thirsty, Ms. Aimee!" I always knew just what they wanted, crushed ice!
This is Lorraine. She is a "friend" that lives in the housing projects across the street. Two if here children attend our Children's church. Please pray for her. She has a lot of physical issues due to her over consumption of alcohol.
