    Our prayer is that God would use us to be a bridge to His Son Jesus Christ. “But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.’ ” Mark 10:14 Our calling is that we would be an outpost of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christ said to bring the children to him, that their hearts would be reconciled to the Father. 2 Corinthians 5:18 Our desire is to plant seeds of hope in the hearts of the inner city youth. “Remember the creator in the days of your youth.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

Biography

Dwayne and Aimee Dokes were both born and raise in Santa Barbara, Ca. Being that we have completely opposite upbringings our paths never crossed. It was not until Dwayne was saved from a live of gangs, drugs, and running form the law and Aimee was save from a life of abusive relationships that we met at Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara serving in children's ministry. We were married in May of 1999. In August of that same year we moved to Murrieta, Ca to attend the Calvary Chapel Bible College. During our 6 years there God continued to prepare us for His calling, inner city ministries. We started U.R.B.A.N. Ministries in California which served the homeless in San Diego and Perris, CA. In November of 2004 Dwayne came to Denver to spy out the land. In June of 2005 we moved the family here and God's ministry to the inner city of Denver. With in 6 weeks of moving here we had put together a VBS in Curtis Park. It has been non-stop since then as the Lord continues to place opportunities in our paths. We currently have Children's church on Saturdays at our home and Dwayne is helps run an all boys study during the school year. In the summer we have Backyard Bible Clubs, boys/girl's night out, and a Back2School Celebration that provides a 1000 children with school supplies and a backpack.

…to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ Act 26:18
